There is a growing concern about lack of quality in educational systems. Lying at the core of these systems are the teaching learning processes where transaction takes place. This paper tries to explore various views available on ascertaining good teaching learning processes. Some international and national models and their key parameters have been discussed in the paper. Use of these by the institutions can help to realise the objective of quality in education
