This purpose of this paper is to express the racism in “To kill a mocking bird by Harper Lee”. Tom is an innocent man. He became a victim because of his rivalry. Through this novel we see that racism is a very cruel thing. Every man is equal, everyone has two hands, two legs, two eyes, one nose and one mouth. Every man is made by god. God never discriminates people. He has made man in his similarity. God sees every man equal. It is man who discriminates. Though the character Tom is honest but the society punished him. As he is “Black”.
