Title

COMPARATIVE EFFECTIVENESS OF MEMORY MODEL AND TRADITIONAL METHOD IN TERMS OF ACHIEVEMENT IN SOCIAL SCIENCE OF CLASS IX STUDENTS

Abstract

Present study entitle effectiveness of memory model in terms of concentration of class IX students belongs to the area of teaching learning process specifically with models of teaching. The sample for the study was selected from class IX students of secondary schools of Indore city (M.P.) affiliated to M.P. board on random basis. The present study was experimental in nature. The study was designed on the basis of Non –equivalent control group design. The mean score of achievement after the treatment was found to be significantly higher than that before the treatment. It may therefore be said that the memory model was found to enhance the achievement of students.
