Home automation can make things easier ,safer and cost efficient .It includes controlling home appliances remotely through a computer ,phone ,laptop etc. Advancement in technologies have made home automation more convenient ,efficient and even more secure. The Raspberry Pi plays the major in metamorphose the regular home into a smart home .Java and python languages is used .the main clinical is to design smart home automation and security system which can be controlled and examine by raspberry pi and some sensors like gas, IR, fire sensors. The advantages of this automated alert system is that it tender faster response time and unambigeuous detection of an emergency in turn leading of faster diffusion of the situation ,compared to manual methods.This is a very compelling reason that uphold designing such a saftey system .GSM module is used for message alert.
