Understanding the processor function is essential in the modern education. It is very difficult to understand the advanced processor architecture without basic functioning of a simple processor. In this work we are making a simple computer called SAP-1 completely on breadboard. This computer uses digital logic ICs which makes our design clean and neat. Also the LEDs are connected to every module allows us to see what data is stored in the blocks and how instructions are executing which enhances deeper understanding of the processor. We used seven segment LED display to show the final output of the program. By using self locking switch we can change the mode of the processor between programming mode and run mode. Programming mode allows us to change the program where as run mode executes the program. It has 16 byte RAM, which keeps the processor architecture simple, which serves as program and data memory which is enough for understanding simple programs clearly.
