Title

DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF EFFECTIVE PATIENT MONITORING SYSEM USING MLED AND WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORK

Abstract

Wireless body sensor networks (WBSNs) are widely and popularly known as solutions for low cost applications in health care centers. In our proposed approach, the WBSN consists of biosensor nodes. The nodes will be placed on the patient’s body and this sensors repeatedly sense vital signs such as the Body Motion, Skin Temperature, Heart Rate (electrocardiogram (ECG)), and Brain Activity(EEG), Pulse, Blood Oxygen level, Blood Pressure. Each biosensor node senses one only vital sign. After collecting physiological data we will store it in a database. Disease detection in our approach involves the following preprocessing feature extraction and classification .Some of the signals are extracted from the database and then by preprocessing them we will eliminate unwanted signals. Discrete Wave Transformation using Mother Wavelet Selector compression technique is used in feature extraction and then the signal is classified by using ANN. The analyzed data of each patient is sent to the doctors to monitor even when the patients are in unconscious stage.
