This paper focuses on simple ,secure and low cost fingerprint based voting machine using IOT. In fingerprint based voting machine the voter is uniquely identified his/her fingerprints. The voting data is stored, processed and sent to Cloud Server. Fingerprint based voting machine consist of hardware and software. The hardware is implemented using Arduino microcontroller, R305 fingerprint module and GPRS for end to end communication. Arduino Idle is used for programming. The proposed system is portable, low cost and low power consumption. Proposed system avoids duplicate voting and rigging and provides easy access and security. Fingerprint based voting machine using IOT has simple architecture and more scope for further developments.
