Among all other types of cancer, Lung Cancer is one of the most common causes of death throughout the world. It is necessary to get proper treatment on time, to reduce death rate of people in the world. In the existing technique, only the lung cancer detection process is carried out by using region based segmentation process. But the diagnosis not performed to identify the stage of lung cancer also any one type of image such as CT or MRI image is given as input. The drawbacks of existing methods are time consumption is more and less accurate to overcome this problem Segmentation Technique is to be applied in the proposed technique, It used to separate various region in an image using Segmented area. Image Fusion technique supplied to combined CT and MRI image also new image enhancement technique with new morphology operation is introduced to improve the accuracy of detection. After the texture and shape feature are extracted. Finally, SVM classification is performed to identify the stages of lung cancer. The proposed lung cancer detection and diagnosis method offers high accuracy, low complexity.
