Title

Adaptive feedback control based LED Driver for Low-Power Lighting Applications

Abstract

It is proposed to develop a dimmable LED driver circuit with adaptive feedback control for regulating the LED current and brightness. By using universal input voltage operation, high efficiency and high power factor can be achieved by a coupled inductor singleended primary inductance converter power factor correction (PFC) converter with a simple commercial transition-mode PFC controller. The operation principles and design considerations of the studied LED driver can be analyzed.Matlabsimulink can be used to demonstrate the operation of the adaptive feedback control system, LED lamp current and voltage waveforms.
