Title

DATA ANALYTICS ON CONSUMER BEHAVIOUR IN CREDIT CARD INDUSTRY

Abstract

Data Analysis in financial services is big challenge for banks that Information System and Multivariate analysis provides both descriptive and inferential procedures, patterns in the data or test hypotheses about patterns of a priori interest. With multivariate descriptive techniques, we can peer beneath the tangled web of variables on the surface and extract the essence of the system. Multivariate inferential procedures include hypothesis tests that process any number of variables without inflating the Type I error rate and allow for whatever intercorrelations the variables possess. A wide variety of multivariate descriptive and inferential procedures are readily accessible in statistical software packages. Historically, the bulk of applications of multivariate techniques have been in the behavioral and biological sciences. Multivariate methods now spread to numerous other fields of investigation. The constant shift in the field has led to many interesting developments including the field of marketing research. This means that any organization should try to obtain information for decision making and gather marketing intelligence to help decision making process. Factor analysis is one of the useful tool for identifying important factors to make decisions. It is one of the multivariate tool explores the better understanding on internal structure of a set of variables.
