Literature has been an indispensable part of human expression.The literature and computer science are not as far from each other as it appears. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is unquestionably evolving and its contribution in the field of literature can be immense. It has been observed by many researchers that AI has the capability to play a critical a key role in literary world, whether it is literary interpretation, or literary criticism. AI-aided translation is one such area of humanities where a lot of developments has been done. Over the years, there has been different forms of literature that has evolved. There was an era when narrative was told though lengthy epic poetry, and there was also a time when novels into prominence. Translation had always played a key role in every era, of connecting two different languages, cultures and literatures. And nowAI could play an important role in breaking the language barrier. This paper is an attempt to understand the relation of literature and AI, and how these two areas in future, can make a different in the academia.
