Title

Design and Development of Heat Pump for Large Capacity Fish Storage Tank

Abstract

This paper presents the overall design and development of heat pump for large capacity fish storage tank. Temperature is the most important factor with regard to quality and shelf life of fish. Temperature of the fish storage tank can be maintained upto28◦C using some water heating technologies available in the market. The proposed system will be able to maintain water temperature within 28-40◦C optimum range with reduced cost of electricity. The aim of this paper is to summarise the methodology to develop heat pump as per the requirements to enhance the life of the fish
