Title

Design and Optimisation of Intake System for Formula Student Vehicle

Abstract

The objective of this research paper is to optimise an Intake System for FSAE Vehicle. The Research has been done using a research tool Computational Fluid Dynamics Analysis for optimisation of Air flow inside the intake manifold. Various Parameters of the venturi and plenum chamber have been varied and iterations have been done accordingly.The best results for minimum pressure drop (Pressure losses) have been obtained for better performance, air flow and for maintaining proper air-fuel ratio in the intake of the engine.
