The problems of women and children have become multifarious and their communication to the concerned authorities remains unanswered. We find many organizations putting in efforts to protecting human rights around the world. Non-Governmental Organisation (NGOs) is one of such groups. The paper analysis the interface between the NGOs and Government of Meghalaya on various issues of Women and Child Rights in the State. Here the role of NGOs and their involvement in programmes and activities with the Government departments are projected.
