Title

Design of Diesel Engine Components

Abstract

The major problem is its low performance petrol engine. I wish that by replacing the petrol engine with high performance diesel engine the car can decrease the running cost and also can compete with most of the small cars in the market.The objective of the project is to design two cylinder, Compression Ignition, water cooled engine that can enhance the performance of the Nano car.In this project various components of Diesel engine like, Cylinder, Piston, Piston pins, Piston pin, Connecting rod and Crankshaft are designed from theoretical design procedures
