This research paper “Awareness of government schemes for banking sector among public in Orathanadu region, Thanjavur District” is carried out to identify how people got awareness about the banking schemes launched by the government. Data were collected with the help of survey method through structured questionnaire. In this research the simple random sampling is used in Orathanadu region, Thanjavur District, Tamilnadu with the sample size of 150. Data analysis tool used here is ANOVA. After collecting the data from the people it was verified and analyzed for identifying the awareness of public about government banking schemes.
