Vehicular emissions is a major contributor to air pollution and climate change. With the advent of on-board diagnostics, the possibility of integrating cutting-edge technologies and measurement of vehicle-health becomes more plausible. This paper proposes a unique solution to the problem of measuring, monitoring and documentation of vehicular pollution trends utilizing the trending technologies. The area of Edge computing is explored with extensive survey and the technologies and platforms that support the development and genesis of the solution are explored. Internet of Things, Responsive Web Technology and Predictive Machine Modeling are utilized to envision this solution. The paper also hints at the far-reaching implications and benefits of developing such a solution. We propose a cloud-based system to track and monitor vehicular emissions by collaborating with the controlling authorities to cut them down.
