In India due to demographic dividend there is a rise in share of working age people in population which ultimately helps in the rate of economic growth. When dual career couples start earning the variety of problems arises such as psychological stress among couples, children issues, family life balance, nonsupport from organization and family members support during need, spouse support in household activities and during career development and misbalance in their personal life. In India mostly women are taking care of children & family members, but when she goes for earning the major responsibilities lies on her to balance the Job & family. Does it mean that women shouldn’t work? No, to solve the problems in an effective way is the real solution for any problem and especially among dual career couples. Although the issues and challenges are the part of life and it is a never ending process. The present study is to investigate the problems of dual career couples and their work life balance in Nagpur city. The online survey has been conducted to study the objectives and it is observed that the major reason for moving towards work / job among dual career couples is to gain financial stability but commonly the stress is affecting their life although most of the dual career couples are able to maintain their work life balance.
