Title

Novel Step-Up DC-DC Converter with High Voltage Gain for Power Take-off Applications

Abstract

Heavy vehicles such as tractor, truck and aerospace applications use a method called power take off (PTO), which is used to power the applications such as actuators or DC and AC loads. Conventional type of PTO used were running engines or heavy DC sources which always resulted in less efficiency with low reliability and more losses. Hence electric PTO systems requires DC-DC converter with high voltage gain. This paper focuses on the simulation of the proposed converter which used an interleaved boost converter with high gain transformer and a rectifier. The proposed converter is analysed and simulated using MATLAB Simulink.
