Title

A Review on Magneto-Rheological Disk Braking System

Abstract

The braking arrangement in automobiles is act as a control system. Research has been going on to provide efficient braking torque in limited geometrical space. So new types of braking system are coming up and start gaining importance. One of them is Magneto- rheological fluid (MRF) disk brake system. MRF disk brakes are indicating extraordinary potential to the current conventional hydraulic braking systems. As MRF is a purely electronically commanded actuator which further reduce the braking time as compare to hydraulically system in which pressure build up causes delayed in response time.
