Title

A study on conventional power plant furnaces and an approach to reduce in CO2 emissions.

Abstract

Abstract: Coal plants are the top source of emission of carbon dioxide in our nation, the primary cause of the global warming. Burning of coal also results in acid rain, smog and toxic air pollution. This work will focus on conventional thermal power plants and the problems associated with burning of coal in coal furnace. A new approach is developed to reduce carbon dioxide emission to environment by using hybrid furnace instead of conventional coal or induction furnaces for heat generation in a thermal power plant.
