Title

Phytoremediation Technology: A Boon for Natural Remediation of Hazardous Elements

Abstract

Abstract: Phytoremediation technology has gained a lot of significance in recent decades. It utilizes natural green plants for remediation of hazardous elements present in natural environments due to uncontrolled anthropogenic activities. The phytoremediation technology utilizes various mechanisms for remediation procedures which are reviewed in this work. Further there are a well known range of weeds and other plants which play the role of phytoremediaters acting as the systems for absorbing and dehazarding the hazardous material. Two of these important weeds have also been reviewed in this work.
