Without pollination, up to 75% of agricultural crops would suffer a significant decrease in productivity. Due to the increasing pressure accompanied by ecological and economic risks, the health of our pollinators is at risk. The multiple drivers like habitat loss, pesticides, fragmentation, pathogens etc are responsible for the loss of bees. Indiscriminate spraying of chemicals not only kills the bees but also make harmful the honey production. Therefore, there must be a clear understanding about the perspective to improve the conditions from becoming worse. The consequences of the decline in pollinator population would affect globally and the of pollination services loss would be accompanied with the risks. So, for sustainability in the pollination services, there should be an investment to develop mitigation options like alternative managed pollinators, protected area networks, and agri-environment schemes.
