Title

Identification Of A Stable Crystalline Structureformgo And Al2O3using Enthalpy Of Formation And Born Stability Criteria: A Computational Approach

Abstract

Material project data has been used to demonstrate how to predict stability of materials using enthalpy of formation values and Born stability criteria. Two materials have been chosen, MgO and Al2O3 having two different crystal structures. It has been observed that the structure with lowest values of enthalpy of formation follow stability criteria matches with experimentally synthesized materials.
