Psychoanalysis in literature always attracts the readers and reveals new meanings about the text. While analyzing a text from a psychoanalytical point of view, it becomes necessary to read not only what the author wants to say through the text but what the text itself suggests. This research paper makes an attempt to provide personality analysis of Graham Hendrick. In Julian Barnes’s Before She Met ME, he is observed to be suffering from a serious delusional jealousy. Therefore, this study explores the character of Graham Hendrick, along with the circumstances he faces due to certain clashes between his personality and situations. Freudian psychoanalytic theory is being used to analyze the character of Graham.
