Title

Physiological responses of Cytokinin (CK) in fruit crops: A review

Abstract

Of the five major classes of natural hormones the cytokinins appear to have been the least successful in the manipulation of fruit production . Cytokinin plays an important role in the fruit set of several plants. Fruit production can be regarded as the ultimate expression of the efficiency, of all the physiological processes which occur within the plant. This review article would describe the role of cytokinin in numerous physiololgical responses in fruit crops.
