Computer knowledge has presented to improve agricultural productiveness in a number of ways. One method which is rising as a beneficial tool is image processing. This paper presents a brief survey on using image processing approaches to support researchers and growers to increase agricultural practices. Computer vision has been used to help with accurate agriculture performance, herbicide and weed technologies, observing plant growth and plant nutrients management. Requirement of precise sorting and grading of fruits, vegetable and of other agricultural yields arise due to improved expectations in excellence food and security standards. It caused increasing in handling and labour work. Image processing is an accurate and trustworthy approaches to complete target of sorting and grading. Some of the major field in which digital image processing is widely used such as grading, sorting, colour processing, weed detection, dieses control, remote managements of grain storage facilities for high quality of agricultural produced.
