Abstract-Power system control strategy introduced high amount of renewable energy sources. The whole system is ruling by the single energy source, generally a steam-turbine generator. Paper describes about the automatic generation control with best optimized operation not much affecting the environment. For each and every energy sources, it must require optimization technique to handle in any situation. To overcome the problems of controlling the energy source, it requires a control strategy or law or a parameter control algorithm for every energy source. The main and important body of the automatic generation control is automatic voltage regulator and load frequency control. To get the stable output at the receiving end it requires power system stabilizers, which helps to stabilize the power. This technology is also being used in electric vehicles which is known as vehicle to grid.
