Title

Fabrication of Bio Implant Based on the CT-Scan Data Using Rapid Prototyping Techniques

Abstract

Abstract: Rapid prototyping technique is used to develop prototype for bone structure as the rapid prototyping model helps to understand the anatomy of real bone by computer tomography conversion. 70:30 ratios of titanium dioxide and tricalcium phosphate using powder metallurgy process is found to be best ratio to make the bone type of material, which could be better implant material. Hardness Rockwell C test is employed to determine the tensile strength.
