Title

Mutimachine Transient Stability Improvement

Abstract

Abstract: Power system stability is a key issue for maintaining the system synchronism. Owing to the nonlinear characteristics of the power system, transient stability is key indicator of stability which has key indicators such as machine angle or the generator rotor angle, generator speed , bus voltage and many more. Such parameters are to marinated within bound limits so that there is no loss of synchronism. Use of power system stabilizer and static VAR compensator is advocated in this paper for the improvement of the system stability under change in operating conditions. Simulations are performed under the various fault conditions.
