In the past few years, there is vast development in the field of Automatic speech recognition (ASR). Therefore, this advanced computer technology involves Human-machine interaction, after functionality of text-to-speech, supporting interactive voice response (IVR) systems. This field of speech processing leads to ‘intelligent machine’ which can recognize and understand the spoken words by the user. There are wider applications which have been developed including more common command control systems and the popular speech-to-text systems. The machine or computer performs voice recognition in which the speaker is identified no matter what he/she is saying. Therefore, this is used in applications such as access control and security systems. In the beginning of this filed, since the cost of speech recognition systems were high, so these systems were used in very few situations. But with the passage of time, as the cost of the system decreases with increased performance, these speech recognition systems have been widely used.
