Title

Comparative Analysis of various Control Strategies used for Robotic Manipulators

Abstract

This paper gives a detailed review of various types of robotic manipulator control techniques. First of all, control strategies were classified and studied. A series of contributions to robotic manipulator control techniques are also presented including PID control, intelligent control methods, robust control, adaptive control, sliding mode control and software control techniques. A comparison of the techniques has been given at the end of the chapter.
