One of the most important desired factors in software development is software quality because it ensures customer satisfaction. Some of the software development models available are: Prototyping model, Spiral Model, Agile Model, V-Model, Waterfall model etc. The models consist of a sequence of a set of activities in a software project. The models ensure software quality,manage the duration of the software project etc. The existing models have limited scope. The AZ model described in this paper includes some activities which are introduced during the software development life cycle. The existing software development life cycle models have certain limitations and the model aims to overcome them. AZ model canbe very important for developing software and the importance has also been discussed.
