The purpose of the present study is to review the existing literature on professional communication construct and to present the current state of the art of publications in the field of professional communication. The study relies upon bibliometric analysis. The present study proposed professional communication is an act of being educated to communicate in professional manner. Professional Communication is the backbone for the success of every organization and company. The study reveals that a significant increase in the number of publication, in this research area, has been witnessed in past few years only. The study highlights that the authors from United States of America, United Kingdom and Australia dominate this domain of research. There is a need for further research in the context of developing economies. The study highlights the most influencing authors and papers. The findings of this study may act as a reference point for future researchers.
