A Critical Review on the Biocompatibility of the Nano-Biomaterials

Abstract
In biomaterials, biocompatibility plays a crucial role as it needs to be adaptable in human body and must not be rejected by the immune system. Synthetic biomaterials are used to replace skeletal tissue. At present there has been great deal of research work going on improving the strength of the synthesized biomaterial and design of the implants with natural healing process. The research on the development of new biomaterials comprises the use of existing material in a new composite with improved properties such as structural modifications to existing biomaterials and chemical synthesis.
