Abstract Through this research we tried to find out determinants of usage of mobile payment services in India. With recent advancements in mobile technology, widespread usage of smart phones and very cheap mobile data charges, there is huge surge in mobile commerce in our daily lives. People are utilizing mobile payment services for purchase of various goods and services, bill payments, banking transfers, ticketing, travel, online gaming and charity etc. Companies in a fierce competitive situation have started offering interesting and beneficial promotional services like cash backs and discounts etc. Smart phones have changed the way business and transactions were done earlier. This study highlights the state of digital transactions in India. It is also our priority to determine what are the problems that users face during the usage of mobile payment.
