Abstract In this era of distribute networking security and privacy of information is the main concern of an individual over a network. There are many ways to secure transmission of data over a network but each has its pros and cons. Now a days, security, privacy and trust is provided with the means of blockchain technology. Initially, blockchain has its root in cryptocurrency (bitcoin) but now it is used in different domains for assuring integrity, confidentiality and authenticity of the data being shared.
