Title

Survey on Diverse Code Clone Detection Methods and Tools

Abstract

Abstract: In this paper, we discussed several methods and tools for detecting code replication in different dimensions. This survey provided an in-depth study of the clone detection methods and tools. From clone perceptions, the classification of clones and a general variety of selected methods and tools are discussed. This review paper covers the total worldview of clone identification and presents open research procedures in the recognition of code clones.
