Wood sculptured craftsmanship is one of India's most common and recognized crafts. SRE, along with Jodhpur and Mysore, is one of the influential clusters renowned for their wooden sculptures. In the current circumstances, everything is unknown and variable where individuals with intense interest and enthusiasm for the nation's growth create and experiment with revolutionary ideas. Art and craft play a vital role here, involving creativity with artistic awareness and usefulness as well. This paper discusses the value chain of the Saharanpur wood carved furniture and addresses numerous problems and challenges faced by this community. In Saharanpur, Sheesham is usually the wood of preference, while teak, rosewood, walnut and mango are also used. The drawings are first rendered on paper and then transferred to the wood using ink. Then these are sculpted using a variety of chisels, and finally polished to make the wood shine. The first structured wood carving unit is reported to have been set up by Atta Hussain, an immigrant from Multan, in 1882
