Title

A Review of the Emerging Trends of the e-Learning

Authors

Abstract

E-learning plays a vital role in developing a person and thus a nation's future in today's Information and Communication Technology age. Conventional teaching is teacher-centered and it is very difficult to teach the same subject every time in the best possible quality. It is also not possible for a successful teacher to teach at several locations in a single moment in traditional learning. E-learning, however, neutralizes this downside of conventional learning and becomes a very effective tool for individual intellectual development and helps to create intellectual society. In addition to repetitiveness, traditional learning has several other disadvantages, such as high cost, confined to school, fixed time learning, fixed concept learning, etc., which can be addressed by the latest trends in e-learning. India is the world's first largest democratic nation, and the country's main strength is its democratic citizens. E-learning is a blessing in such countries and plays a critical role in the creation of intellectual think tanks that can be used by all countries on earth and around the world for standardized growth. For other national intellectual communities, it may be a competitive answer.More emphasis has been provided in this work on implementing the latest e-learning methodologies, goals of each e-learning methodology and future technological developments in the field of e-learning such as mobile learning, micro learning, beacon learning, Internet of Things (IoT), cloud-based e-learning, gamification, and many more.
