Migratory birds play very crucial and important role for controlling many ecosystems. Birds are one of the important entities to control pests, they acting as good pollinators, play important role to keep environment clean and acts as scavengers, helps for dispersal of seed. Besides from that birds are important for mankinds they are economically important, they provide nutrient rich food and helps in providing fertilizers in fields. Birds also contribute to maintain biodiversity in various ways and maintain the balance in living ecosystem. Birds are the indicator of healthy ecosystem. The present study small efforts taken to document mostly visited migratory birds in the form of photographic representation from Mandwa Lake nearby Dharni Dist. Amravati. This study carried out from June 2021 to December 2021. Regarding study of migratory birds we are trying to monitor other water bodies near Dharni (Melghat) region for their abundance and try to find out any unexpected sighting.
