Title

IDENTIFYING THE MOST PURCHASED PRODUCT BY ANALYSING BUYING PATTERN OF THE CUSTOMER

Abstract

Buying pattern refers by which way consumers would buy goods and services according to the frequency, quantity, duration, timing, price etc., it indicates and helps to predict how consumers purchase goods or services. There are three types of buying pattern 1.Low involvement buying 2.Impulse buying 3.High involvement buying .it is very important to recognise and analyse buying pattern because it helps business people for better understanding of most preferred products among customers. Machine learning algorithm is nothing but it builds a model based on imported data which is known as training data. It involves computers learning from the provided data so that they carry out certain tasks for identifying most purchased product. For identifying the most purchased product by analysing buying pattern first dataset is collected, then visualizations are made for better understanding and algorithm is applied. Singular value decomposition (SVD) algorithm is used, as it helps to identify and provide result as expected. By applying this algorithm the most purchased product are identified and listed.
