Title

CONVOLUTIONAL NEURAL NETWORK APPROACH FOR IDENTIFICATION OF BUTTERFLY SPECIES

Abstract

There are thousands of butterfly species in the environment. Classification and identification is very important for scientists for study of species. There are many old techniques available for identification of butterflies but they are not effective enough and are time consuming. We need faster and more reliable methods. In the proposed system, a model for butterfly identification using deep learning will be developed. The proposed system will use a database of various butterfly species. For classification and identification of butterfly species, neural network technology like CNN and ANN will be used.
