Title

STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS OF COMPOSITE MATERIAL HELICAL GEAR UNDER VARIOUS LOADING CONDITIONS

Abstract

Within the finished construction, each component is still distinct and separate. In-depth research on helical gears is required in order to design lighter and smaller vehicle power transmission systems that can handle big loads while operating quietly. The competitiveness within the sector is escalating daily as a result of the industry's rapid growth and globalization. Gears are an integral component of mechanical power transmission systems. Reduced equipment downtime and better stress monitoring of gear configurations are also crucial. To determine and define the different stresses and other critical helical gear parameters, a three-dimensional solid model of a set of gears is generated in the Ansys Program. This article also includes a comprehensive look at the study of the tension created between a pair of gears and how to reduce it. In our investigation, we use a set of two helical gears, and the outcomes are shown by means of FEA software in two scenarios with the same power output.
