Title

Imaging of Low Radar Cross-Sectional Targets by Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar.

Abstract

The Imaging of Low Radar Cross-Sectional Targets by Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) is a technique used to generate high-resolution images of radar targets with low radar cross-section (RCS). This abstract provides an overview of the ISAR technique and its applications for imaging low RCS targets. ISAR uses the motion of the target or the radar platform to synthesize a long coherent aperture, which is used to generate high-resolution images of the target. ISAR is widely used in military and civilian applications, such as identifying stealth aircraft and ships, detecting and tracking small targets, and monitoring the health of infrastructure. These abstract highlights the key principles of ISAR, including the signal processing techniques used to generate images, and discusses some of the challenges and limitations of the technique. This paper presents some experimental results demonstrating the effectiveness of ISAR for imaging low radar cross-sectional targets. Overall, ISAR is a powerful imaging technique that has significant potential for a range of applications.
