Food and grains inventory management plays a pivotal role in ensuring food security This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the principles, methods, and challenges associated with managing food and grains inventory. It explores the significance of accurate inventory tracking in addressing issues such as food waste, spoilage, and stockouts. Various techniques for inventory management, including Just-In-Time (JIT), Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), and demand forecasting, are examined in detail, highlighting their respective advantages and limitations in the context of food and grains storage.
