Title

BLOCKCHAIN BASED SMART CONTRACT PLATFORM

Abstract

Smart contracts are blockchain-based contracts that can be executed wholly or partly without human interaction. Any stakeholder associated with the contract platform can trust all of its processes. The objective of the study was to find out the newest area of research pertaining to smart contracts. This paper also provided the broad view of blockchain-based smart contract platforms. This review will help in identifying the gaps that are to be marked for future research.The following major characteristics should describe this platform: fast block creation, reliability, safety, stability, and usability. Languages for writing smart contracts and blockchain platforms are gaining huge popularity. However, smart contracts and applications that implement blockchain are developed with non-standard software life-cycles, in which, for instance, delivered applications are hardly updated or bugs resolved by releasing a new version of the software. It does this to the end of putting much emphasis on the current problems and possible solutions in the development of smart contracts and blockchain applications. We make a review of papers related to six specific topics: smart contract testing, smart contract code analysis, smart contract metrics, smart contract security, Dapp performance, and blockchain applications that appeared in international journals and conferences.
