Title

REVIEW OF RASAYOGAS DESCRIBED IN RASENDRASARASANGRAHA FOR PAIN MANAGEMENT

Abstract

The rasagrantha Rasendrasarasangraha is one of the important texts of Rasashastra. Written by Shri Gopal Krishna Bhatt, it comprises 5 chapters in which numerous rasayogas are described for a wide range of ailments. Currently pain management through Ayurveda in various conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout. etc remains an area which has much scope for exploration. The aim of this article is to review the text Rasendrasarasangraha for various rasayogas that can be used in different conditions in which musculoskeletal pain/ neurogenic pain is chief presenting complaint.
