Digital literacy plays a crucial role in employment generation in today's technology-driven world. Digital literacy encompasses skills such as internet navigation, data management, cybersecurity awareness and proficiency in digital communication and productivity tools. This paper explores how digital literacy enhances job opportunities by bridging the skills gap, fostering entrepreneurship and enabling remote work. It highlights how governments, educational institutions, and private organizations are investing in digital training programs to equip individuals with the necessary skills to thrive in the digital economy. Moreover, the impact of digital literacy on job creation in fields such as e-commerce, freelancing and digital marketing is analyzed.By promoting digital literacy, societies can reduce unemployment rates, enhance workforce adaptability and drive economic growth. The study concludes that integrating digital skills into education and professional training is essential for sustainable employment generation in the modern era.
