Title

Trade In Kurnool District During 1600 A.D To 1900 A.D.

Abstract

Kurnool district derived its name from Kurnool its head office town. Homologically, Kurnool is a exploitation of Kandenavolu, the Telugu name by which it is mentioned to in the poetry of the past. Trade and cultivation were closely connected. The dominant landholders conquered practically every characteristic of village life. Tenants of Brahmins, predominantly Brahmin inamdars, sometimes paid very low rents. The frequency of the land profits varied immensely from district to district, and indeed from village to village, since the proceeds administration was unmoving ill-organized and often uninformed. Through the 18th Century, Kurnool moulded the Jagir of a semi-independent Pathan Nawab, whose offspring was cast out by the British Government for treachery in 1838. The Nawab’s former terrain became a district of Madras Presidency, with Kurnool as its money. Kurnool is the individual city in India that is positioned in between two waterways. With the financial change, the political organization have a habit of to bind all British Indian Provinces into an unchanging legal, judicial and managerial administration 26. The district enjoys enormous payments of lime-stone suitable for cement production, apart from this, the imperative minerals of monetary value in the district are barites, yellow shale, white shale, stealite etc.,
